Oak Dining Table

The client had a white oak tree that had to come down, and decided to make a dining room table from the lumber. The tree itself was just 16" wide, so it took thirteen boards to make the entire 96" x 60" top. At the request of the client to keep the cost low, pre-carved claw-and-foot maple legs were purchased and then tweaked to minimize their period look.
