Sapele Counter-style Desktop

The client wanted a single slab desktop to replace the laminate one they had. A piece of sapele, 127" long and 36" wide, was found locally that fit the bill. The piece was cut to fit, with a hand planed bullnose on the edges. It was finished with a durable polyurethane to take a beating it would receive daily.
